Provide your own app

After the configuration of a custom TopLogic application is complete, it can be installed in the same way as a pre-configured TopLogic. The template for a new application is already prepared to provide an installation via a Docker container, a Debian package, or classically via a web archive (WAR) in its own web container, which facilitates a diverse integration into existing infrastructures.

If one has done the configuration in-app with the model and layout editors, one has to transfer the configurations "into the development environment" beforehand. That is, export the data generated during in-app configuration in the application's database to configuration files. From there, they can be transferred to the build process (cf. layout editor).

The provided configurations for the Docker container and the Debian package are to be understood as examples and can be adapted to the specific requirements. All installation methods are based on the WAR generated in the build process. The choice of application container, web server and database can be adapted to customer requirements.
