Reports

At the end of our journey through TopLogic, we will take a look at the model-based search.

The aim is to create a list showing which tickets have been included in a particular version of a product (Excelent - V1.5 in the following example).

Structure of the search

When defining the search query, TopLogic accesses the platform content.

After selecting the initial object type (in this case "ticket"), we use drop-down boxes to select the property to be queried (possibly with the intermediate step "other attribute"), the comparison operator and the comparison object.

We click on "Comparison attribute..." and select "has target version".

Then we click on "Comparison" and select "is equal" and as comparison object we select "Excelent - V1.5".

By clicking on "Refresh search results" button, the search results will be displayed.

The resulting query can be saved by clicking the "Save" icon (disk).

The result is displayed as a table in the lower part of the form and can now be edited graphically, e.g. to show in which versions the ticket creators had discovered the problems.

The table can be exported as an Excel file via the burger menu, the graphic can be exported as a PowerPoint file.
