The TopLogic application engine is a Java web application that can be adapted to specific business use cases by administering data and process models and configuring the user interface.

Non-technical functions such as administration, monitoring, etc. are included as standard.

TopLogic also offers a wide range of services that facilitate both the realization of specific functions and the integration of the application into existing system landscapes (MailService, OpenApi Service, KafKa Integration, etc.).

In addition, TopLogic offers a selection of different design templates ("themes") and supports the development of your own designs to customize the application.

These configurations are edited using the editors provided in the application itself ("in-app"). ÄChanges are interpreted at runtime and take effect immediately.

No-code / low-code

Classic programming is therefore not required. However, the TopLogic application engine can be extended via Java plug-ins in order to implement specific functions or interfaces. By registering such plug-ins, the functional scope of the model editors is extended, i.e. the concrete integration of such extensions into the application model then takes place in the application itself.

The application model can be regarded as a complete description of the application and technical specification.
