The flowchart control now allows the zoom factor to be configured for the initial display (as well as for model changes and refreshes). Previously, the zoom was hardwired to 100%; interactive zooming by the user remains possible.

Configuration

The new property initialZoom is available on the flowChart component (also visible in the template editor). The default value is 100% - this corresponds to the previous behavior.

Possible values

Fixed zoom levels:

• 50 %(FIXED_50)
• 75 %(FIXED_75)
• 100 %(FIXED_100, default)
• 150 %(FIXED_150)
• 200 %(FIXED_200)

Fit variants (adapt the diagram to the available viewport without enlarging beyond 100 %):

• Fit to page(FIT_TO_PAGE) - entire diagram fits into the viewport
• Fit to width(FIT_TO_WIDTH) - diagram width fills the viewport
• Fit to height(FIT_TO_HEIGHT) - diagram height fills the viewport

Fit variants with magnification (as above, but also scale beyond 100% if the diagram is smaller than the viewport):

• Fit topage (also enlarge)(FIT_TO_PAGE_ENLARGE)
• Adjust to width (also increase)(FIT_TO_WIDTH_ENLARGE)
• Adjust to height (also increase)(FIT_TO_HEIGHT_ENLARGE)

Behavior

The configured zoom policy is applied when:

• first display of the diagram
• Change of the displayed model
• Refresh of the view

The user can continue to change the zoom interactively after the initial display (mouse wheel, zoom buttons); the selected policy only takes effect again at the next reset time.

Migration

No migration required. Existing layouts without initial zoom specification behave as before (100 %).
