If you have a reference-value attribute, you can specify a tree as a value suggestion and then set a selection filter there:

This selection filter is also required in the tree table(template="com.top_logic/treetable.template.xml"), so that you can set there which nodes may be selected and which may not.

Test

In the tl-demo views Technical Demo > Tables and Trees, elements with the name suffix "-final" are displayed as non-selectable.
