TopLogic 8.0.0-alpha10 continues the build-out of the React UI (TL Views), tightens security and cleans up the start and cluster behavior of the scheduler.
React UI (TL Views)
- Kanban board – cards are moved between columns by drag and drop.
- Accordion – collapsible sections.
- Alert – highlighted message boxes in the content.
- Radio groups – selection fields shown as radio groups.
- Access-aware forms and tables – form fields, table cells and the editing of a form follow the model access rights.
- Large values in tables – multi-line and multi-valued values appear as a one-line preview with an editor dialog.
- Development menu – designer, recording, inspection and agent access have moved into a development menu of the app bar.
- Material UI prototype – an adapter module renders the replaceable components with Material UI.
- Rich-text editor – now based on Tiptap 3.
- Security configuration UI – the UI of the model-based security configuration has been reworked.
Security and access rights
- Anonymous user – is protected and no longer offered in person selection fields.
- Drag and drop – drop operations check their command permissions.
Configuration and operation
- Scheduler start – tasks start only after the application is fully up.
<on-startup/>– runs on every node start.- Cluster behavior – every task must declare whether it runs on each cluster node; the option
run-on-startuphas been removed. - Commit messages – configurable for changes made in views and by drop operations.
- LDAP via environment – the LDAP configuration can be set through environment variables.
- Developer articles – the engine's developer articles are available to applications.
