Detail
If you insert a link in the documentation, you get the same suggestions as in the keyword search. Usually you search for a link by its title or technical name, not by the occurrence of the word somewhere in the content of the article. However, the current link offer returns all pages in which the keyword occurs somehow. This makes the result list too long to be able to select the target page sensibly from it.
Improvement
The tl:QuickSearchCommand got another configuration option. Now it is possible to specify for a tl:TLClass which attributes should be considered for the search. If no configuration is specified, a full text search is made with the whole object as before. If several languages are available, as is the case with a page title, for example, then all translations are always taken into account in the search. So a search in German will also return pages whose English title contains the search term. This should make the search easier, especially for developers who tend to use the English terminology.
Application
Here is an example for a tl:Page. Only pages whose title or name attributes contain the entered search term are to be searched for.
{{#!xml <config config:interface="com.top_logic.element.layout.meta.search.quick.QuickSearchCommand$Config">
<search-attributes>
<search-attribute type="tl.doc:Page" attributes="name, title"/>
</search-attributes>
</config> }}
Test
In TL-Doc, insert a TLObjectLink on a page. In doing so, test search for different terms, e.g. a name of an object or a title. Only objects that contain the search term in the name or title may appear in the list. It should be noted that all existing languages are always taken into account in the title search. This means that if TL-Doc is set to German and you search for a term, objects will also be displayed whose English title contains the term, even if this is not visible in the displayed list.
