Detail
#27096
Tree does not scroll the selected node into the viewport on (external) selection
The selection of a tree is only focused, i.e. the viewport is scrolled until the selection is displayed if the tree changes the value of its selection channel **itself**.
This is generally wrong. External selection adjustments are not taken into account for focusing. Instead, the tree should focus the selection as soon as the value of the selection channel changes.
Implementation
Currently, the listeners for the tl:SelectionModel and the selection channel are in the tl:AbstractTreeComponent, but the logic for focusing and the tl:TreeControl are in the tl:TreeComponent.
The two components have now been pulled together i.e. only the tl:TreeComponent exists.
Code migration
The tl:AbstractTreeComponent no longer exists. Instead, the tl:TreeComponent should be used.
Test
- Jump to an object whose context is in a tree.
- The tree should display the object and show the selected node in the viewport
