#27027
Declarative forms: SelectField disappears after upload if option list depends on mandatory property
#27042
MaintenanceJspBase should write to the log first, then to the client, instead of the other way around.
enhancement
TopLogic is platform-independent and can be manually installed as a WAR file in a web container on any target platform. On Debian Linux systems, however, the software can be automatically installed and updated as a package.
Improvement
It should be possible to build Debian packages (.deb) for TopLogic applications, allowing an application to be installed with a single click.
Test
Install BPE via a Debian package
- Add the TopLogic Debian repository (import the TopLogic signing key, enter TopLogic credentials, set up the package source, and update packages).
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 955A22FF7750F043EA48E580B44EB751B8A3726C echo -e "machine dev.top-logic.com\nlogin $USER\npassword $PASSWD" > /etc/apt/auth.conf.d/toplogic echo "deb https://dev.top-logic.com/nexus/repository/toplogic-deb/ toplogic main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/toplogic.list apt-get update
- Install the package.
apt-get install tl-bpe-app
- The application should be available on port 80.
Install a new app as a Debian package.
- Set up the new app.
- Build: mvn clean install
- Copy Debian packages from `target/*.deb` to an empty container and install them
Code Migration
- If you want to build a Debian package for an existing application, you must transfer the relevant properties and build plugins from the pom.xml file, as well as the files under src/main/deb from a newly created application, into the existing application.
