Scriptrecorder: Input of date values via date popup control is not recorded
Problem
When recording the filling of a form / attachment dialog and entering date values using the Date popup control, this input is not recorded. In the resulting scripts these date values are then missing. In the case of mandatory fields, this is noticed because subsequently these scripts do not run. Otherwise it remains unnoticed and the fields remain empty.
Workaround
When recording such scripts, enter the date values manually / via keyboard. This input will be recorded correctly.
Test
- Start recording in tl:ScriptRecorder.
- Technical Demo > Layout-Framework#1 > OpenForms > Form Controls (inline)
- Enter date values into a date field via keyboard and via popup, enter invalid value (e.g. XXX).
- Expectation: All input variations should be recorded.
- Enter time values in a time field via keyboard and via popup, enter invalid value (e.g. XXX).
- Expectation: All input variants should be recorded.
- Enter color value in a color selection field via popup.
- Expectation: Input will be recorded.
- Enter icon value in an image selection field via popup.
- Expectation: Input will be recorded.
