TL Views: "Reset personal settings" clears the stored configuration, but the running session keeps its table state and writes it back; the declared column widths return only after a new login
Problem
The account menu of user-menu.view.xml offers "Reset personal settings" (<reset-personal-configuration/>, #29529/#29540), announced as discarding "the theme, column widths and everything else you have adjusted".
Observed in the issue tracker tl-dev on engine snapshot build 39 of 2026-09-18, as root:
- In the global ticket list (<table personalization-key="…">, columns with declared `width`s), drag the summary column from 238 px to 338 px and move it; reload - the drag is remembered.
- Account menu → "Persönliche Einstellungen zurücksetzen" → confirm.
The table still shows 338 px and the moved order, also after a reload, and also when the reset is run from another page and the list is opened afterwards. Only after logout and login does the table show the declared widths and order again.
Cause, as far as visible: the reset clears the stored PersonalConfiguration, but the session's table view state (ViewStateStore / the table's personalization) is kept in the running session and written back on the next change or reload, so the reset is undone by the session that asked for it.
Expected
After the reset, every displayed table of the session shows its declared defaults at once (or at the latest on the next reload), the theme likewise; nothing of the session's cached personalization is written back.
