Tiles: User-defined commands in the context menu of object tiles
When a set of objects is displayed as tiles, you might want to assign custom commands to each tile/object that act on the displayed object without having to open the tile (e.g., "Delete").
The exact commands that operate on the selection in the tile list—and that are registered with the tile list itself—could be displayed in the context menus of the object tiles shown within it.
Implementation
The tile list has been given an additional configuration option, “Tile Context Menu Commands,” where you can configure the commands that appear in the tile’s context menu. These commands then operate on the domain object represented by the tile.
Test
- Edit Tile List
- Configure a handler in the "Tile Context Menu Commands" option, e.g., the generic delete handler.
- Expected Result: The configured command, e.g., "Delete," is displayed in the context menu of each tile.
- Expectation: When the command is selected, the handler is executed on the tile object; for example, the tile is deleted.
