Enhancement
(User-visible)
If an action is triggered in the GUI and this takes more than 1s, then a waiting cursor is displayed. In the time further actions can be triggered.
If another long-running action is triggered in the time and the first action returns, the wait cursor is removed so that work can continue on the GUI.
Sequence
- t=0s: Action A is triggered; duration 1.5s.
- t=0.5s: Action B is triggered; duration 10s.
- t=1s: Wait cursor is displayed; GUI is locked.
- t=1,5s: 'A' is processed; GUI is unlocked.
- t<10s: B is still running; GUI is not locked.
Test
- Switch to Technical Demo > Layout Framework #1 > Forms > Test layoutproblems
- Search the group "Test ticket #25739".
- Enter a time between 1000 and 10000 (in ms) into the "Wait time" field
- Select the first row in the table and within the second wait time select the second row.
- Expectation: after 1000ms a waiting cursor will be displayed. After the entered time has elapsed, the cursor disappears again, but **not** before the selection of the 2nd line is visible.
