Bugfix
(User-visible)
The upload dialog of a web folder offers a button "Upload" for file selection:
This button open the file selection dialog of the operating system:
In particular, it is possible to select and transfer several files at the same time. The files are transferred to the server:
If you open the file selection dialog a second time to upload another file or just another file (because you forgot or selected the wrong file), the selected file will not be transferred to the server, but the previous selection will be discarded.
So the new selection is not added to the existing selection, nor is the existing selection replaced by the new selection.
No file is now selected.
Improvement
- When multiple files are selected, they are added to the list of files to be uploaded.
- When errors occur during upload (invalid file name), the error is reported for all problematic files.
- Even if an error occurs during upload, the files without errors are still selected.
- Errors are reported via the InfoService because the errors are not persistent. The upload must work even if a second selection attempt reported errors, but a valid set of files are already selected.
Test
- In tl-demo in the webfolder view, run through the above scenarios.
