enhancement
The generic creation option for composition elements in form tables currently cannot handle polymorphism. An object of the composition’s declared type is always created. If this type is abstract, the creation fails with an “Abstract Type Error.” Instead, for a polymorphic composition type, the specific type to be created must be selectable (as is also possible when creating via the Structured Element Create dialog).
Test
- Define type A` with composition `bs of the abstract type B.
- Define two concrete subtypes of `B`: `B1` and ` B2 `.
- Allow the type A to be edited in a form.
- In the form for A`, create an element of the composition reference `bs` and save it.
- Expected Behavior: When creating the element, the system prompts for the specific type to be created.
