Enhancement
In the model, you can only store static icons for a type so far. These are used for all objects of the type. However, you would like to display status-dependent icons - e.g. a ticket in the "solved" state with a checkmark, in the "new" state with a question mark, or similar.
Workaround
A plug-in can be used to register a resource provider for the type. There, an appropriate icon can be calculated via a Java implementation.
Improvement
The annotation "representation" for subject object types should make it possible to configure a status dependent icon.
Test
- In tl-demo, the type DemoTypes:DemoTypes.A has been given a dynamic icon.
- If the instance has an icon assigned in its icon attribute, that icon is used to represent the instance.
- If the value in the float attribute is greater than 0.9, the instance's icon is displayed in red.
