The existing API for progress dialogs is extremely cumbersome because it requires configuring a component. However, a progress dialog is typically intended to be displayed for a long-running operation that would otherwise be executed in a `tl:CommandHandler` and has no way of providing user feedback.

Improvement

A progress dialog that can be opened programmatically, similar to `tl:MessageBox`:
